تواصل لجنة إدارة نادي الزمالك المؤقتة برئاسة عماد البناني، سعيها لحل أزمات القلعة البيضاء، التي تركها مجلس الإدارة السابق برئاسة مرتضى منصور.

وكانت إحدى أبرز أزمات نادي الزمالك، غرامة المهاجم المغربي خالد بوطيب، والاستئناف عليها ومتابعة القضية ماليًا وقانونيًا.

وعلم “بطولات” أن أحمد فؤاد الوطن المدير المالي المعين ضمن لجنة لإدارة نادي الزمالك قام بالتنسيق مع الجهاز الإداري لدفع مستحقات خالد بو طيب الخاصة ومصاريف الاستئناف.

وكان اللاعب المغربي خالد بوطيب قد حصل على حكم من المحكمة الرياضية بإلزام ناديه السابق الزمالك بدفع مبلغ مليوني و700 ألف يورو.

وجاء ذلك المبلغ تعويضًا للاعب وفق العقد المبرم بين بوطيب ونادي الزمالك الذي تم الإخلال به خلال فترة تواجد المغربي داخل أروقة القلعة البيضاء.

وكان الزمالك قد استأنف حين صدور الحكم ضده، على عقوبة بوطيب، من خلال تقديم كافة المستندات التي تثبت صحة موقف النادي.

ويعاني فريق الكرة الأول بنادي الزمالك خلال الفترة الحالية، بعد افتتاح مشواره في الكونفدرالية بخسارة على يد أرتا سولار خارج الديار، في ذهاب دور الـ32.

Pakistan offspinner Saeed Ajmal will leave Colombo for Brisbane early on Sunday to have his bowling action tested at the Australia National Cricket Center, a newly ICC-accredited facility. He is set to miss the first of three ODIs against Sri Lanka on August 23, and could be unavailable for the second match as well on August 27.”There is a possibility that he [Ajmal] may join the team on August 26,” a PCB spokesperson told ESPNcricinfo. “Although his test is scheduled for August 25 in the laboratory, it depends on how much time he requires there. If the process is completed in one day then he will take an immediate flight to Sri Lanka to join the team.”Ajmal’s action was reported by the onfield umpires and the match referee after the first Test against Sri Lanka in Galle earlier this month. ESPNcricinfo understands the ICC report had mentioned that about 30 to 35 deliveries from the match were under the scanner. Ajmal is free to continue bowling until the results of the test are known.This is the second instance of Ajmal being reported for a suspect action. In April 2009, he was reported for bowling the doosra, and was cleared the following month. This time, however, it is not just the doosra that is under scrutiny.The issue of suspect bowling actions had came up during the ICC cricket committee meeting in June, where there was a general consensus among members that the current methods used to detect illegal actions were imperfect. Kithuruwan Vithanage has been docked his full match fee and been placed on probation for one year, after he had left the team hotel overnight during the recent Test in Galle against Pakistan, SLC has said.A board inquiry confirmed details of his exit from the team hotel at around 7pm of the third day of the Test, and his return at around 6.30am the following morning. Those details had originally been passed on by the team manager.”The executive committee received the recommendations from the inquiry, and decided to give Vithanage a suspended sentence of one year,” SLC secretary Nishantha Ranatunga said. The “suspended sentence” effectively means that Vithanage would likely be punished with a suspension if he breaks team protocol or breaches the terms of his contract again before September 15, 2015.The incident had occurred the night before Vithanage was due to bat in the Test, and was treated by captain Angelo Mathews and coach Marvan Atapattu as a serious breach. They had requested Vithanage be removed from the squad, but he was allowed to stay with the team at the behest of chief selector Sanath Jayasuriya. Vithanage hit 5 and 11 not out in Galle, and was subsequently dropped for the second Test of that series.No solid curfews were in place for players during the Test, but leaving the team hotel without informing the manager, particularly until late into the night, is a clear breach of disciplinary protocol. Vithanage is also believed to have left the team hotel without permission on previous tours, with Jayasuriya having spoken to him sternly about the issue. In an email to SLC officials, team manager Michael De Zoysa cites two previous incidents: one in Bangladesh earlier in the year, and another on a flight to the UK.According to that email, Vithanage had apologised for leaving the team hotel and said he had done so to attend a bana and pirith ceremony [Buddhist religious ceremony] at a temple.
