أثنى فيرجيل فان دايك، مدافع فريق ليفربول، على زميله النجم المصري محمد صلاح بعدما حقق الأخير رقمًا تاريخيًا في بطولة الدوري الإنجليزي الممتاز أمس.

وفاز ليفربول على مانشستر يونايتد بسبعة أهداف دون رد، في قمة منافسات الجولة السادسة والعشرين من الدوري الإنجليزي، على ملعب “الأنفيلد”.

وتمكن محمد صلاح من تسجيل هدفين وصناعة مثليهما في تلك المباراة، ليصبح الهداف التاريخي لفريق ليفربول في الدوري الإنجليزي برصيد 129 هدفًا.

وقال فان دايك في تصريحات نشرتها صحيفة “جارديان” الإنجليزية: “لقد أظهر مو سبب أهميته الكبيرة لهذا النادي بكل تأكيد”.

وأضاف: “لقد كان مؤثرًا للغاية مع كل شيء، إيجابي على مدى العامين الماضيين، وآمل أن يتمكن من الاستمرار في ذلك”.

وواصل: “بالنسبة له، بأن يكون هداف ليفربول التاريخي في الدوري الإنجليزي، هو شيء لا ينبغي لأحد أن يأخذه كأمر مُسلم به، وأنا لن أفعل ذلك، لا ينبغي التقليل من قيمة الأمر لأنه شيء مميز حقًا”.

وأضاف: “الأرقام الحالية لـ محمد صلاح طبيعية للاعب عادي، ولكن ليست له هو، لأنك تقارن صلاح بنفسه في المواقف السابقة، والتي كان فيها بعيدًا عن المجموعة بالكامل”.

وأكمل: “مستوى محمد صلاح لم يكن مرتبطًا بمستوى ليفربول، لكن هذا الموسم سقط في هذه المشكلة، وتأثر بمستوى المجموعة وأصبح مثل الفريق، يعانيان معًا”.

وواصل: “في الفترة الأخيرة، تحسن محمد صلاح كثيرًا، وبالتالي الفريق تحسن معه، سجل وصنع أهدافًا، ولكن لا يمكن أن تقارنه الآن بما كان في المواسم السابقة، ليس منطقيًا”.

Shane Watson’s dissatisfaction was plain at the conclusion of a thrillingly tied ODI series against a resurgent West Indies. Australia won the fifth match to level the ledger at 2-2, having fallen behind after winning the first. They had done so despite holding strong positions in every game since, each time having to cope with Caribbean rearguards that bloomed into stirring counter-attacks.Watson’s first full series as captain, in the absence of the recovering Michael Clarke, contained plenty of lessons for a fledgling leader, not least the fact that in the West Indies a match can change course quickly if one team ceases to be as attentive to its rhythms as the other.For this reason Watson said he had learned many worthwhile things, but remained frustrated at his side’s inability to close out the series when it had the chance. It was not a display befitting the world’s top-ranked team, however inexperienced.”There’s disappointment, there’s no doubt, to tie the series,” Watson said. “Especially when we were in a number of those games at a stage where we should’ve really buried the West Indies, it’s very disappointing. But it’s a big learning curve for us, we have to get better at those stages, because that’s where we’re really going to grow as a team.”After the last game we sat down and talked about exactly the plans we were going to have, we didn’t execute them exactly how we wanted to, but at least we’ve got some good plans and we understand the ways we’re going to go about it.”Kieron Pollard and Darren Sammy posed particular problems in the latter halves of most innings, their bold hitting and deft placement giving many of the Australians the air of a tired commuter who has just learned upon leaving the office that their bus or train home has been either delayed or cancelled for the day.”We’ve had them in trouble throughout the whole series and they just seem to find a way to fight back, whether it’s Kieron Pollard or Darren Sammy today,” Watson said. “There’s no doubt we’re not executing our skills exactly right, but it’s some pretty impressive batting as well. The way Darren batted, I’ve never seen him bat like that, and to be able to do it under pressure was very impressive.”We’re at a stage where we look like we’re cruising okay and then things change quite quickly, and it’s happened since I’ve come back into this Australian team over the last 10 games or so – it’s certainly something we need to work on.”When he weighed up the series against others he had played since his international debut in 2003, Watson said the team collective had learned as much as any other, for most came to the West Indies with little or no experience of the islands, the grounds and their heady atmosphere.”It’s a bit different [from other series] because I know it’s been a bit of a learning curve for all of us,” Watson said. “There’s been a bit of a turnover in players, and we are really are continuing to try to find the balance we need to put complete games of one day cricket together.”For me it’s been a huge learning curve, one as a captain but definitely also for what we’re trying to set-up, leading into the Champions Trophy next year in England, and leading into the World Cup. So I think it is an exciting time because we’re all learning.”There’s quite a few [lessons], probably the plans to try to pull the run rate back on smaller grounds has been the biggest challenge for me, giving the bowlers a few plans to go to when the batsmen are on the attack.”As for the series’ value as a psychological marker ahead of the Tests, Watson was sceptical, noting how the West Indian team would now be stripped of many of its most accomplished performers due to the financial lure of the IPL.”Their side’s going to change a bit with a few of their better players or bigger strikers and [Sunil ]Narine as well going to the IPL, so they’re going to lose a few,” Watson said. “We’re going to add a few as well with Michael Clarke and Ricky and Peter Siddle, so there’s going to be a bit of a change-over with that. So I don’t think psychologically it’ll play much part.”

Passa um filme na cabeça, porque antes era só vaia, e hoje o torcedor grita meu nome e aplaude. Esses jogos no Morumbi estão sendo de arrepiar – disse.

– Eu cheguei com um Brasileirão só (na carreira) e infelizmente não tinha ido muito bem no Sport. Lutamos até a última rodada, mas caímos. Quando cheguei eram três laterais aqui e o Paulo Autuori me deu oportunidade contra o Corinthians, depois teve a ida para a Alemanha, Portugal, Japão. Depois veio o professor Muricy, a gente estava brigando para sair da zona do rebaixamento e chegamos na semifinal da Sul-Americana. O professor Muricy falou para renovarem comigo, para eu ficar, e isso foi muito bom. O outro ano também foi bom, a gente foi vice-campeão brasileiro. Em 2015, não foi muito bom. Fui emprestado e agora estou com mais bagagem, mais experiente e mais maduro.

Emprestado à Ponte Preta em 2016 e à Chapecoense em 2017, Reinaldo ainda era visto com certa desconfiança quando voltou ao São Paulo, em janeiro, mas fixou-se como titular da lateral e virou uma das lideranças do elenco. Hoje, já sonha em ser eternizado nas paredes do CT, que têm quadros das equipes campeãs ao longo da história.

-Em todo momento, desde que saí, minha cabeça era de voltar para o São Paulo, chegar aqui e fazer história. Já estou há uns quatro, cinco anos aqui nesse CT, e tem um quadro do meu conterrâneo Willian José, campeão da Sul-Americana. É muito bom ver os ídolos ali. Eu vou lutar muito para colocar o quadro desse elenco nesse CT. Eu vou estar nessa foto, se Deus quiser – emendou ele, que citou o título brasileiro como principal sonho no momento.

-Eu não sei nem explicar o que vai ser se isso se realizar, chegar na minha cidade campeão brasileiro. Não tem nem como imaginar. Lá tem muito são-paulino, minha família, meus irmãos são são-paulinos. Vou comemorar muito com eles.

-Eu estava longe ano passado, mas não deixava de ver os jogos. Me lembro bem do jogo contra o Cruzeiro, com o Morumbi lotado, bonito de ver. O Hernanes acabou com o jogo. Essa energia que começou o ano passado é muito boa. No último jogo, contra o Ceará, o torcedor não desacreditou em nenhum momento, deu força para nós. Espero que daqui até o último jogo eles estejam lá nos apoiando. Para domingo agora, quem não comprou ainda, que compre, porque é muito importante para nós ter essa sintonia com a torcida, essa energia positiva vindo da arquibancada.

O técnico do Santos, Cuca, não acredita que o clássico contra o São Paulo será um “divisor de águas” para nenhum dos lados. -Treino é tão importante quanto o jogo. No jogo destreina, é só ritmo para quem joga, e não é todo mundo que joga. Treinamos muito, vocês viram, treino de finalização era complemento, tático, físico. Treinamos bem e de repente domingo esperamos fazer uma grande partida, inflamando nosso torcedor. Que saiba entender alguns momentos ruins no jogo contra adversário do seu nível. Diferença pode vir da arquibancada.

Contra seu velho conhecido, Diego Aguirre, Cuca espera fazer um jogo consciente. Afinal, tem noção ampla do estilo do uruguaio e não quer ser surpreendido dentro de casa.

– A gente tem que entender o São Paulo, o treinador e característica. Aguirre não muda, no Inter, San Lorenzo, Atlético, tem a mesma. Treinador que gosta de marcar no ataque, pressão, propor o jogo, não é que puxa lá atrás todo mundo e espera por uma bola. Ele propõe e nos preparamos em cima disso. Tem tudo para ser uma grande partida – ponderou.

O treinador também revelou fazer as contas para chegar à tão sonhada vaga na Libertadores de 2019. Segundo ele, mais 25 pontos são necessários para atingir o objetivo.

– Caminha a uma vaga para a Libertadores, seis, sete ou oito. É nosso projeto, nos reunimos na minha sala. Fizemos exercício com o calendário, prognósticos, exercícios que eu gosto. Fizemos ideia do que temos que fazer. No ano passado o sexto acabou com 56. Teríamos que fazer 25, 50% dos pontos. Mais ou menos com isso que trabalhamos.

Vila Belmiro ou Pacaembu?
Vila Belmiro. Não tem viagem, cabe mais gente no Pacaembu, mas pressão aqui é maior. Pessoal acostumado. Temos que jogar no Pacaembu para premiar grande torcida, mas prefiro jogar aqui.

Não repetir o time
Tem que ter equipe ideal, mas não significa ter os mesmos 11. Trocando um ou dois, é 90% do time repetido e isso não infringe em nada negativo. Às vezes três ou quatro é por questão física, mais descansados. Agora é domingo e domingo, é provável que consigamos repetir se não tivermos lesões ou suspensões.

Derlis brigando por vaga no ataque
É só não pôr ele que dá para tirar. Deixa eu fazer o papel do advogado dos outros. Gabriel também dá para tirar, mas não sei se é o certo. Rodrygo dá também. Bruno fez a melhor partida dele nos últimos tempos contra o Paraná, está na recuperação franca, grande, bom na bola aérea. Dá para tirar, mas é o certo? Dá para jogar com os quatro, mas não sabemos se é o certo. O que fizermos está meio certo e o que vai falar que é certo é o resultado final.

Contratação de Felippe Cardoso
É um menino de 19 anos, um jogador indicado pela comissão técnica, por mim, o comandante e avaliado por todos. Passou nas avaliações que fizemos, inclusive com o pessoal da base que o conhecia. Pode pensar que é custo alto, mas não é pelos números do futebol de hoje. Tem tudo para dar retorno técnico e mais tarde financeiro. Se trabalharmos com essa filosofia quando não conseguimos captar tudo da base, acho que é um grande negócio. É ter paciência e deixar o tempo falar por si só. Acredito que é uma grande contratação.

Caos político
Eu não vejo situação crítica, falando a verdade. Estamos tranquilos na nossa parte, assim como o presidente falou para eu cuidar daqui. E está ótimo para mim. Que todos possam se unir para ficarmos fortalecidos, todo santista têm esse sentimento. Perdemos o Ricardo, faz falta, cara do bem e maravilhoso, mas não temos janela de contratação agora. Coisas ficam mais tranquilas e estabilizadas. Estamos alheios e não respinga nada aqui. Não tem fator política no meio.

Jayawardene’s composure under pressure ensured that an incisive fast-bowling performance from Varun Aaron and Umesh Yadav, which restricted Kings XI Punjab to a middling total, was not in vain. With a place in the top four secure, Daredevils need to win only one of their last two games to secure No. 1 position.Kings XI, on the other hand, needed victory tonight and in their remaining two games to be assured of a playoff spot. They cannot afford another defeat and will have to depend on net run-rate and on a permutation of results in other matches to qualify. Kings XI had persevered to make a below-par total competitive in their first clash against Daredevils – this season’s 64th game – but did not have enough runs in the end.Daredevils unleashed their quick bowlers, supported by a crack fielding unit, and a steady fall of wickets ensued after Kings XI chose to bat. وعن أخبار رحيله في الصيف الماضي إلى مانشستر يونايتد، قال: “كنت هادئا لأنني كنت أعرف أنني سأبقى في برشلونة ولم أغير رأيي، لطالما حلمت باللعب في برشلونة وأريد النجاح كلاعب هنا، الآن أنا هادئ وأريد الاستمرار هنا”.

Tim May, the Federation of International Cricketers Associations (FICA) CEO, has threatened legal action if the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) fails to ensure that the players involved in the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) held in February have been paid.In a letter to the BCB president AHM Mustafa Kamal, dated May 19, May urged him to inform the BPL franchises to clear all outstanding dues to the players within five days. Although May 9 was the original deadline for foreign players’ payments and May 31 for the locals, it is learned that the board had asked the franchises to clear all dues by the first week of June.”Whilst we have a communication avenue open, I wish to express, on behalf of the majority of players that recently participated in the Bangladesh Premier League, our continued disappointment that a large number of players, both foreign and local, still have not received their full entitlements from their franchises,” PakPassion.net quoted May’s letter, as saying.”The continued broken promises and deadlines is causing great harm to the integrity of the franchises, the Bangladesh Premier League, the Bangladesh Cricket Board, and all of the officials within such organisations.”May warned the BCB of various repercussions if the franchises fail to pay up within the deadline.”Following the inability of the franchises to meet such deadlines, we demand that the BCB satisfies the guarantees it has agreed to under the player agreements immediately. This applies to all outstanding player fees, both to domestic and foreign players,” May wrote.”If the sums of money are not received by players within 5 business days, FICA will be forced to explore legal routes to recover these monies from the BCB. Additionally FICA will further advise all foreign and domestic players not to participate in any future BPL events.”The letter also quoted part of players’ contract in which it was stated that 25% of a player’s fee would be paid before February 2, two weeks after the players’ auction and a week before the tournament started. The second installment (50% of the player fees) was supposed to be paid on or before February 23 while the rest (25%) was supposed to be cleared “within 45 days of the completion of the players’ involvement in the league”.

O GOL IRREGULAR DO INTER
O Internacional quase não foi ao gol de Cássio no primeiro tempo até que houve falta no lado esquerdo do ataque. Edenilson cobrou e Damião apareceu para completar.
