No sorteio de grupos da Libertadores, realizado nesta quarta-feira à noite, no Paraguai, o Flamengo ficou na chave 4, aolado do River Plate, da Argentina, e doEmelec, do Equador. A vaga restante neste grupo, fica em aberto.

O diretor executivo de futebol, Rodrigo Caetano, acompanhou o sorteio. Em entrevista ao canal SporTv, o dirigente ponderou que Flamengo está em equilíbrio com os seus futuros adversários.

– O grupo novamente, pelo segundo ano, bastante equilibrado. Difícil fazer qualquer projeção. Essa edição da Libertadores tem muitos campeões, com grande número de brasileiros. Era natural que certamente cairíamos com um dos grandes argentinos como cabeça de chave – afirmou Rodrigo.

Ainda sem saber qual será a punição do time rubro-negro pelos incidentes na final da Copa Sul-Americana, no Maracanã, Rodrigo Caetano espera não perder mandos de campo.

– Gera um pouco de ansiedade. A gente ainda não sabe como vai ser o desfecho disso, mas realmente a gente espera que não tenhamos um prejuízo maior do que o que aconteceu na final. Que o Flamengo tenha condições de jogar perante o seu torcedor, torcedor ordeiro, torcedor que realmente representa a grande nação rubro-negra – afirmou o dirigente.

وأضاف: “لن أخجل في الإعلان عن عقوبة لاعب إذا كانت تحتاج للإعلان، إمام عاشور لو كان مُعاقب أو مُستبعد لأسباب غير فنية كان سيتم الإعلان عنها”.

وواصل: “ليس من الطبيعي أن يشارك كل اللاعبين، ويوسف أوباما أكبر مثال، لأنه كان أساسيًا لفترة كبيرة، والآن لا يشارك أساسيا، هل هناك ازمة في ذلك؟”.

وعن حقيقة التفاوض مع البرزايلي جيوفاني سانتانا: “لا أعلم من هو من الأساس، وتابعت اسمه من خلال ما يتردد منذ الأمس، ولكن لا يوجد أي مفاوضات معه”.

A number of Wolves supporters have been showing their love for Joao Moutinho after footage of his superb goal against Brentford was posted by the club on Twitter.

Wanderers carried on their magnificent recent form on Saturday afternoon, battling their way to a 2-1 win against the Bees in west London. A tight game saw Moutinho open the scoring with a great strike early in the second half, before Ivan Toney equalised and Ruben Neves bagged the winner.

It was another impressive day at the office for Moutinho, who is still producing big performances at the age of 35 and received an 8.6 match rating from Sofascore, the highest of any player in the match.

On Saturday night, Wolves’ official Twitter channel shared new footage of the veteran’s strike, further highlighting his evergreen brilliance as a footballer and showing why so many supporters are calling for his contract to be extended beyond its current expiry date of June 2022.

No terceiro dia de pré-temporada, o técnico Fábio Carille começou a formar o Corinthians da temporada 2018. Nesta sexta-feira, ele fez o primeiro trabalho tático do ano no CT Joaquim Grava e realizou os primeiros testes. Como previsto, o turco Kazim saiu na frente na disputa pela vaga de Jô, de partida para o Japão.

É preciso frisar que ainda são os primeiros testes e impressões, portanto ainda prematuro para se fazer qualquer análise. Carille, porém, já iniciou os movimentos na tentativa de formar uma base. E nela, Kazim treinou no ataque com os demais titulares que terminaram o ano.

Depois de feitos os exercícios físicos, o técnico levou dois grupos de jogadores para um campo onde fez trabalhos de ataque contra defesa, sempre enfatizando a sua linha de quatro defensores. O time que atacava tinha: Gabriel, Camacho, Romero, Jadson, Rodriguinho e Kazim. Já os defensores desse grupo eram Léo Príncipe, Warian, Léo Santos e Moisés; Paulo Roberto. Ou seja, uma defesa com todos que foram reservas no ano passado.

Neste ponto, sobre a formação ofensiva, é preciso lembrar que Carille cogita mudar o esquema, saindo do 4-2-3-1 e voltando ao 4-1-4-1. Se fizer isso, ele pretende atuar com Jadson mais centralizado, provavelmente dividindo a meia com Rodriguinho. Assim, Camacho sairia do time, já que o técnico não abre mão de dois pontas abertas (Romero e Clayson). Caso mantenha o 4-2-3-1, Jadson e Clayson brigaram por duas vagas, como aconteceu em 2017.

Já no outro campo, a atividade era mais genérica, espaço reduzido e dois toques, com sete jogadores de cada lado, todos podendo atacar e defender. Desse grupo saíram Fagner, Balbuena, Pedro Henrique e Guilherme Romão para trabalhar com Carille a linha de quatro. É um esboço de formação defensiva, com Pedro na vaga de Pablo e Romão, na de Guilherme Arana. O lateral-esquerdo volta de empréstimo do Oeste e inicia o ano testado na frente de Moisés, o reserva do ano passado. Lembrando, sempre, que é apenas o primeiro teste de Carille.

Dos jogadores que estão à disposição, apenas o zagueiro Yago e o volante Renê Júnior não participaram do treino. Yago deixou o treino da última quinta-feira com dores na coxa esquerda, enquanto Renê ficou na academia. Ele foi anunciado quinta como reforço por três anos, mas ainda não foi apresentado.

Nesta sexta o lateral-esquerdo Juninho Capixaba, contratado do Bahia, também esteve no CT, mas ficou apenas na parte interna. Ele deve assinar contrato ainda nesta tarde antes de ser anunciado como reforço do time. A tendência é que ele siga viagem com o grupo para os Estados Unidos, onde o Timão complementará a pré-temporada com a disputa da Florida Cup. O embarque é no próximo domingo à noite. Até lá, a equipe treina em dois períodos.

Former Leeds United goalkeeper Paul Robinson has been reacting to the club’s reported interest in Aberdeen teenager Calvin Ramsay.

The Lowdown: Leeds keen on Ramsay

The Whites are yet to make a senior addition this month, with Mateo Joseph Fernandez the only player through the door at Thorp Arch for the under-23 side.

RB Salzburg midfielder Brenden Aaronson is the club’s key midfield target, although Leeds have also been linked with Ramsay. The 18-year-old right-back has been a regular at Pittodrie this season, making 22 appearances, with Elland Road scouts heading north to watch him in action earlier this month.

Reports suggest that Aberdeen want in excess of £6m to part ways with the full-back this month, and Robinson has been giving his thoughts on a potential late move.

The Latest: Robinson’s comments

The 42-year-old, who regularly features as a pundit on Sky Sports, was talking to MOT Leeds News over a possible move for Ramsay.

He labelled the Aberdeen starlet as ‘quality’ but urged Leeds to strengthen in other areas before swooping for the teenager, saying:

“It’s not a lot of money but if you ask any Leeds fan if you want a right-back when you’ve got Luke Ayling, he’s been a top-class right-back for the last three or four seasons.

“Jamie Shackleton can play there, Stuart Dallas has played there. It’s not a pressing matter.

“Okay, signing good young players is always good for the club but they need a centre-half, they need a central midfielder and they need a centre-forward. They are far more pressing issues than a right-back.

“Yes, he’s a top player. Yes, he’s a quality young player who’s up and coming. But it’s not an area that Leeds fans will look at and say that’s what the team needs to improve.”

The Verdict: Spot on

As Robinson says, Victor Orta has bigger fish to fry in the final days of the January transfer window, so a move for Ramsay shouldn’t be a priority.

He could be a future star, but Leeds are well stocked in that department and also have youngster Cody Drameh gaining senior experience on loan at Cardiff City, and he could be Luke Ayling’s long-term replacement.

Orta was after a defensive and attacking midfielder this month, but at this stage it doesn’t look as if he’ll get either, with a move for Aaronson looking more likely for the summer.

He may have something up his sleeve to bolster Marcelo Bielsa’s midfield ranks, and if he does, he’ll need to act fast with Monday’s deadline fast approaching.

The scholarship entitles them to a two-week training stint starting May 15 at Cricket Australia’s Centre of Excellence in Brisbane.Mithun, 20, had a fantastic debut domestic season, finishing as the leading wicket-taker in the Ranji Trophy, in which he helped Karnataka reach the final for the first time in 12 years. His performances were rewarded with a call-up to the national squad for the Tests against South Africa earlier this year, and an international debut in the one-dayers that followed.He wasn’t picked for either the World Twenty20 or the second-string side to tour Zimbabwe, but is part of the India A outfit that tours England next month. For a player who hasn’t trained or played outside India before, the trip to Brisbane helps him get a taste of overseas conditions.”The scholarship provides good preparation for that tour (of England),” Mithun told Cricinfo. “They have good coaches for fast bowlers there, it will be a good chance to learn more about fitness for fast bowlers, and my coach has told me learn about the slower ball (which he has been working on).”Accompanying Mithun will be two players who were a key part of India’s Under-19 World Cup campaign earlier this year. What’s the talk?

According to 24Sata, via the Daily Record, Gers target Danilho Doekhi has rejected a contract offer from Dinamo Zagreb in a last-gasp twist on deadline day.

It was reported last week that the player was set to make a decision between signing a pre-contract deal with the Croatian outfit or Rangers. The latest report does not state that he has now agreed to join the Scottish giants, but they now appear to be the only horse left in the race for the Vitesse beast.
