أكد محمد بركات عضو مجلس إدارة اتحاد الكرة، أن الأهلي هو المرشح الأول للتتويج ببطولة دوري أبطال إفريقيا.

وقال بركات في تصريحات تلفزيونية عبر فضائية “المحور”: “الأهلي المرشح الأول للتتويج بلقب دوري أبطال إفريقيا هذا الموسم، البطولة صعبة ومعظم الفرق قوية، لكن طالما الأهلي في ربع النهائي سيظل المرشح هو الأول”.

وتابع: “صن داونز قدم دور مجموعات قوي، وكذلك الترجي والرجاء الذي يمتلك خبرات إفريقية مميزة، الأهلي فنيًا في حالة جيدة، وبدنيًا هناك تفاوت في بعض المباريات، ولكن لاعبي الأهلي وموسيماني لديهم العذر بسبب ضغط المباريات”.

وأضاف: “حميد أحداد من أفضل اللاعبين في الرجاء، ولابد من الحذر منه خاصة أنه يعرف الأندية المصرية جيدًا من خلال تواجده فترة في الزمالك”.

واختتم: “محسن متولي أيضًا لاعب مميز في الرجاء، والثنائي محسن وأحداد الأكثر تسجيلًا للرجاء في الدوري هذا الموسم برصيد 5 أهداف لكل منهما، الثنائي مميز للغاية، ومحسن متولي هو العقل المفكر لفريق الرجاء”.

Na quinta-feira, o técnico Zé Ricardo fez elogios ao colombiano.

Berrío é o quarto reforço do Flamengo para esta temporada. Antes dele, o Rubro-Negro anunciou as chegada de Miguel Trauco, Conca e Rômulo.

Berrío foi um dos artilheiros do Atlético Nacional no ano passado. A vontade do jogador pesou na negociação. Nesta semana, o volante Cuéllar entregou que o compatriota tinha o desejo de vestir a camisa rubro-negra.

As negociações avançaram muito desde a chegada do presidente do Atlético Nacional, Juan Carlos de La Cuesta, ao Rio, na última terça-feira. Ele teve encontros com o empresário do jogador, Nestor Villarreal, e também com representantes do Flamengo para chegar a um acordo.

O Atlético Nacional exigia o pagamento de cinco milhões de Dólares (cerca de R$ 16 milhões) para liberar Berrío. O Flamengo fez uma proposta abaixo desta quantia, de 3,5 milhões de Dólares (quase R$ 11 milhões) e se comprometeu a pagar em parcelas, assim como nas contratações do volante Cuéllar e do meia Mancuello.

Aston Villa are in line to bring Ashley Young back to the club, 10 years on after leaving for Manchester United, according to the Daily Mail.

And, as to be expected, several Villa fans were quick to give their immediate thoughts to the news online.

The Daily Mail claim that Young will be allowed to leave Inter Milan this summer, with the Serie A giants looking to balance their financial books.

Young helped Inter Milan win Serie A last season, making 34 appearances in all competitions.

The 35-year-old played at left-back, right-back and as a left midfielder during the 2020/21 campaign, with Young also attracting interest from Watford and Burnley.

His experience of the British game appears to be a reason why Villa are looking to bring him back to the Midlands, with Yong making 369 appearances in the Premier League.

Fulham could see Tosin Adarabioyo depart Craven Cottage on a cut-price deal this summer.

What’s the talk?

That’s according to a report by Football League World, who claimed that the 23-year-old centre-back could leave west London for as little as £10m in the summer transfer window due to a release clause in his contract.

It is reported that this clause is only active until 14 July, meaning that if any of Newcastle United, Arsenal or Norwich City – all of whom have been linked with a move for the former England under-19 international – wish to make a move for Adarabioyo at a reduced price, they will have to do so quickly.

Fans should be concerned

While the news that the £10m release clause in the former Manchester City man’s contract at Craven Cottage is only active for a matter of weeks could be viewed as a good thing, the fact that Adarabioyo has a clause in his contract for such a small fee should be enough reason for Fulham fans to be concerned.

Having impressed for Scott Parker’s side last season, as well as currently being valued by Transfermarkt at £10.8m, should a club go on to activate the 23-year-old’s release clause this summer, it would be something of a disaster for the west Londoners ahead of their upcoming Championship campaign.

Indeed, over his 33 Premier League appearances last term, the £27,000-per-week centre-back helped his side to keep nine clean sheets, as well as averaging 1.3 interceptions, 1.1 tackles and 5.8 clearances per game. These metrics saw Adarabioyo earn a seasonal SofaScore match rating of 6.92, ranking him as the Cottagers’ ninth-best performer in the top flight.

With Fulham hoping to secure an immediate return to the top flight next season, losing one of the club’s brightest starlets – whom Tony Mowbray dubbed an “exceptional talent” – for less than his current market valuation would not be a good way to kick off the new season for the Cottagers, nor would it look well on the club’s hierarchy for allowing the clause in his contract in the first place.

Wolves have reportedly asked for the price of Ugurcan Cakir ahead of a potential move in the summer transfer window.

The Lowdown: Patricio out?

There have been a number of reports over recent weeks suggesting that Rui Patricio could be on the way out of the Midlands club to join AS Roma.

If that deal does eventually go through, the Molineux club would then needto find a suitable replacement for the Portuguese veteran in between the posts.

The Latest: Cakir eyed

As per Sporx, Wolves have reportedly asked how much Cakir is going to cost ahead of a potential move. They have also sent a letter of interest to Trabzonspor with regards to the goalkeeper, who has also been eyed by Tottenham, Inter Milan and AS Monaco in the past.

It is also claimed that Wolves conveyed positive feedback about Cakir’s displays at Euro 2020 and for his club in the 2020/21 season.

The Verdict: Sign if Patricio goes

If Patricio does end up moving on, then Wolves should look no further than signing Cakir as his replacement. Although Turkey disappointingly went out at the group stages of the Euros, the ‘keeper was a rare shining light for them, having averaged six saves per game in the competition (Sofascore).

At club level, he kept an impressive 13 clean sheets in 39 matches across all competitions last season (Transfermarkt), a rate of one clean sheet per three appearances.

At 25 years of age, the 1.91m (6 foot 2) Cakir is a lot younger than Patricio, and his status as captain of Trabzonspor is an added bonus, which suggests that he can show his leadership skills both on and off the pitch.

A dúvida é se o camisa 1 poderá jogar a estreia do Peixe na Libertadores, no dia 9, contra o Sporting Cristal, no Peru.

Gustavo Henrique, que fez uma cirurgia no joelho esquerdo em outubro, a segunda em sua carreira, já anda pelo campo, assim como Luiz Felipe, que fez a mesma cirurgia um mês depois. De acordo com o cronograma do camisa 6, sua presença nos treinamentos deve acontecer em abril.

Já apto a jogar, o recém-contratado Cleber aguarda sua chance. O técnico Dorival Júnior admitiu ter preocupações em aprimorar o sistema defensivo, mas não deu indícios se fará mudanças. Nos treinamentos, o camisa 31 mostrou ter velocidade e estar em boa forma.

O Peixe inscreveu Cleber, Lucas Veríssimo e Yuri, que é volante de origem, no Paulistão. O argentino Noguera não será inscrito e não está nos planos do treinador.
