كشف مدرب مانشستر يونايتد أولي جونار سولشاير فرص اللاعب إدينسون كافاني في المشاركة في مباراة الغد أمام كريستال بالاس.

ويلتقي الفريقان في إطار منافسات الجولة التاسعة والعشرين من الدوري الإنجليزي.

وغاب كافاني عن آخر أربع مباريات لـ مانشستر يونايتد بسبب إصابة عضلية.

وقال سولشاير في تصريحات نشرتها شبكة “سكاي سبورتس” العالمية: “كافاني تدرب معنا، هذا أمر جيد بكل تأكيد”.

وعن بول بوجبا، قال سولشاير: “ما زال غير جاهزًا، هو يشعر بالتحسن ولكنه لم يتدرب مع الفريق حتى الآن، ولن يتواجد معنا بالطبع”.

Liverpool have announced that their fixture against West Ham in December has been postponed due to involvement in the FIFA Club World Cup, and that has generated excitement amongst the fanbase.

The Reds’ trip to the London Stadium was intended to take place on December 21 and will now be rescheduled for a new date, likely in 2020 due to the festive period.

The Club World Cup takes place between 11-21 of December, and many fans have eyed it as yet another opportunity to add to the two trophies already won this year – the Champions League and Super Cup.

The Anfield outfit haev only competed in the competition on one occasion – in 2005 – but lost out to Sao Paulo in the final, which ended 1-0 in favour of the Brazilian side.

This time around, fans are expecting a more comfortable time, and from the reactions below it would seem many would be very disappointed if the players didn’t bring back silverware with them.

كشفت صحيفة “موندو ديبورتيفو” الإسبانية، عن خلاف حاد نشب بين ليونيل ميسي قائد برشلونة، ورئيس إشبيلية بيبي كاسترو، ومونشي المدير الرياضي.

برشلونة فاز على إشبيلية (3-0) بريمونتادا مثيرة في إياب نصف نهائي كأس ملك إسبانيا، ليتأهل للنهائي بمجموع مباراتي الذهاب والإياب (3-2).

المباراة كان بها جدل دائر على أرض الملعب، وتوترات مختلفة بين اللاعبين، وشهدت الأجواء السيئة بين الفريقين حلقة جديدة في النفق المؤدي للملعب.

وأوضح التقرير أن بيبي كاسترو ومونشي نزلا إلى نفق غرفة الملابس وتشاجرا مع ميسي وبيبي كوستا، مساعد لاعبي برشلونة وصديق مقرب للأرجنتيني.

كاسترو ومونشي قالا: “تربحوا بنفس الطريقة دائمًا”، في إشارة لأخطاء التحكيم، ليرد ميسي: “وأنت تعود للمنزل مشتعلاً دائمًا!”.

من ناحية أخرى أشارت الصحيفة إلى أن إشبيلية أكدوا أن مونشي لم يكن متواجدًا في النفق المؤدي للملعب، وأن ميسي هو من بدأ بالمشادة، لأنه طالب بطرده في المباراة السابقة بالدوري الإسباني.

مونشي يوم السبت الماضي، وصف رونالد كومان بأنه طفل يبكي خلف المقاعد، بعد فوز برشلونة على إشبيلية (2-0).

ورد الحساب الرسمي لبرشلونة عبر “تويتر” على حساب إشبيلية الذي نشر تغريدة تضم صورة بيكيه كتب عليها يوروبا ليج يطارد مبابي بعنوان: “إشبيلية في دور الـ16 بدوري الأبطال”، ليغرد برشلونة: “كرة القدم تعني الاحترام، تصبحون على خير”.

كشفت تقارير صحفية موقف نادي ليفربول حامل لقب الدوري الإنجليزي الممتاز، من التعاقد مع الدولي الفرنسي، كيليان مبابي، مُهاجم فريق باريس سان جيرمان، في نافذة الانتقالات الصيفية القادمة.

الدولي الفرنسي، صاحب الـ22 عامًا، لديه عقد مع حديقة الأمراء ينتهي بعد عام، وبالتحديد في 30 يونيو 2022.

ويتواجد مبابي، على رادار ليفربول وريال مدريد، إلى جانب مانشستر سيتي، ولكن الأخير انسحب من الصراع على ضم مبابي، بسبب راتبه الفلكي (طالع المزيد من التفاصيل).

وبحسب صحيفة “موندو ديبورتيفو” الإسبانية نقلًا عن نظيرتها “ديلي ميل” البريطانية، فإن في ليفربول لا يفكرون في الوقت الحالي في ضم مبابي.

وأوضحت أنّ الأزمة الاقتصادية التي يُعاني منها النادي، تقف أمامه من أجل ضم الفرنسي.

وقالت الصحيفة إنّ باريس سان جيرمان، يضغط على بطل كأس العالم 2018، من أجل التجديد مع النادي الباريسي، حيث قدم النادي عقد مدته 5 سنوات مع راتب كبير (لم يتم الكشف عن قيمته)، ولكن كيليان تجاهل هذه العروض، ولم يبدي موافقته أو رفضه.

وأشارت إلى أنّ هذا السيناريو، ما يُفضّله ريال مدريد، الذي يبني استراتيجيته على حقيقة أنّ مبابي لا يريد التجديد، وبالتالي سيضطر النادي إلى بيعه في الصيف المُقبل، حتى لا يُغادر مجانًا في صيف 2022.

مُبابي يُعد من الركائز داخل باريس سان جيرمان، وشارك في 32 مباراة بمُختلف المسابقات هذا الموسم، وسجّل 25 هدفًا، وقدم 9 تمريرات حاسمة.

Leeds United rejected the chance to sign Marcus Edwards from Tottenham Hotspur in the summer, per Football Insider.

What’s the word?

The attacking midfielder left Spurs in the transfer window, joining Portuguese club Vitoria on deadline day.

However, the report states that he was offered to the Championship club as a possible part-exchange option within the deal taking Jack Clarke to north London.

Leeds ultimately opted against taking Edwards, with the club keen to do a straight-cash deal.

The report states that Spurs paid an initial £9.5m for Clarke, who has been loaned back to the Championship club for the 2019/20 campaign.

The right call

Edwards has never really showed any indication that he can make any impact for an English club at a respectable level.

He made just one appearance during his time at Spurs and a loan spell at Norwich City was cut short due to concerns over his attitude.

A spell with Excelsior last season was more productive but the club were still relegated from the Dutch top-flight.

He needs to get his career back on track before he can think about playing for a club with such a pedigree as Leeds.

His time with Vitoria is the perfect opportunity to do that.

It has been confirmed that Divock Origi is set for a short spell on the sidelines and that could provide the perfect opportunity for Rhian Brewster to stake a claim for a first-team place.

What’s the latest?

The Belgian was handed just his third start of the season for Saturday’s visit of Newcastle, starting once again on the left-wing, but had a minimal impact before being forced off through injury, making only 5 passes in his 37 minutes on the pitch.

It will be a blow for the 24-year-old, who has found starting opportunities hard to come by since returning from a loan spell at Wolfsburg at the end of the 2017/18 campaign.

He has made a valuable contribution over the last few months though, scoring important goals against Barcelona and Tottenham in the Champions League, but now looks like he will be on the treatment table for a “short spell” with an ankle injury.

His absence has prompted Jurgen Klopp to call up Brewster to the matchday squad for the trip to Napoli, and it could be a great chance for the youngster to show what he is all about.

Making a good impression

Brewster is yet to make his debut for the Reds but the 2017 U17 World Cup top scorer has impressed at youth level for both club and country.

This season he has two goals in four games whilst impressing academy manager Neil Critchley, and the 19-year-old will be hoping to do the same with Klopp.

He has previously featured in the matchday squad for important European fixtures against Barcelona and Tottenham, but he will hope to go one better this time around by getting onto the pitch.

The involvement of Brewster is positive for the academy, as it shows they will be considered if they’re good enough and show the right attitude, with Klopp offering a pathway to players like Trent Alexander-Arnold further evidence of that.

علق التونسي نبيل معلول، المدير الفني لمنتخب سوريا، على فوز الترجي أمس ضد الزمالك بهدف دون رد، في دور المجموعات لبطولة دوري أبطال إفريقيا.

وقال نبيل معلول خلال مداخلة ببرنامج “بي أون تايم” عبر شاشة “أون تايم سبورت”: “الترجي تفوق على الزمالك في جميع المستويات، هذه من المرات القليلة التي من الممكن أن نجد هذه الفوارق بين فريق تونسي ونظيره مصري، في كل المواجهات التي جمعت فرقًا من البلدين”.

وتابع: “معين الشعباني تحكم في إيقاع المباراة، كان هناك خطأ إداري كبير من نادي الزمالك، وهو تغيير باتشيكو وتعيين كارتيرون قبل المباراة بيومين”.

وأضاف: “أنا أتابع الكرة المصرية، الكرة التي كان يقدمها الزمالك مع باتشيكو، منذ مدة طويلة لم أراها، سواء في الانضباط التكتيكي للاعبين في الملعب، أو في تعاملهم مع المدرب، لكن خسارة أمس والتي قد تسبب في خروج الفريق من دور المجموعات خطأ إداري بحت”.

وعن الفارق بين الزمالك في النسخة الحالية من دوري الأبطال وأدائه أمام الترجي أمس، وبين لقاء الموسم الماضي والفوز على الفريق التونسي في مباراة كأس السوبر الإفريقي: “مباراة السوبر الإفريقي أي مدرب يستطيع الفوز بها، لكن مواجهات دوري الأبطال ذهابا وإيابا، لها تحضير أخر، لن نلقي اللوم على كارتيرون فقد عاد للفريق قبل المباراة بيومين، ولكن أرى أنه لو كانت الإدارة ستغير المدرب ليس في هذا التوقيت”.

واستكمل: “الزمالك لم يكن حاضرا لا ذهنيا ولا بدنيا، والترجي تحكم في مفاتيح اللعب كاملة، وتفوق عدديا في الجبهة اليمنى ووسط الميدان، وكان هناك رغبة وحرص على الفوز أكثر من الزمالك، لاعبو الفارس الأبيض كانوا غائبين تماما، وتغيير المدرب ساهم في تغيير معنويات اللاعبين”.

واختتم: “حتى الآن الأندية القوية في دوري أبطال إفريقيا والتي تقدم عروضا مميزة ونتائج جيدة هي الأهلي والترجي والوداد وماميلودي صن داونز”.

A number of Everton fans took to social media on Saturday to slam the performance of Gylfi Sigurdsson in the shock 2-0 home defeat to Sheffield United.

The 30-year-old scored 13 Premier League goals for the Toffees during the 2018/19 campaign, but the Iceland international is yet to get off the mark this term.

And his performance in the loss to Sheffield United went down terribly with the Everton fans, who are seemingly losing their patience.

According to WhoScored, Sigurdsson actually had a pass success rate of 97% at Goodison Park on Saturday afternoon.

The attacker only managed one shot off target during a disappointing performance though, and it was another poor result for the Merseyside giants.

Next up for Everton is a trip to Sheffield Wednesday in the EFL Cup on Tuesday night, before hosting the champions Manchester City in the league next weekend.

We say this because Leeds and Bielsa have essentially been awarded for righting their own wrong.

Although there’s nothing in the laws of football that decrees you should kick the ball out of play if an opposing player, in this case Jonathan Kodjia, hits the deck writhing in pain, you’d certainly be on the wrong end of a serious finger wag if you didn’t ‘do the right thing’.

In this case, that was allowing Albert Adomah to waltz through relatively unchallenged (minus some protest from Pontus Jansson) and score. In the end, Leeds didn’t get their promotion party, which isn’t ideal, but the award will go some way towards easing the pain.

Then there’s the small accompanying detail of Spygate. You know, when Bielsa admitted that he had spied on every opponent last season by essentially sending a member of staff with a pair of binoculars to conduct shrubbery-based surveillance.

Regardless of this all, owner Andrea Radrizzani was full of pride when he responded to the club’s achievement on Twitter…
